Christchurch Police have confirmed remains found in Greenpark on Tuesday, are those of Yanfei Bao - and the scene examination is now complete

Detective Inspector Nicola Reeves has been notified the formal identification of Bao's remains were accepted by the Coroner today.

She says this brings a key aspect of the investigation to a close - and her body will now be returned to family.

Police can't share further details of the post-mortem - in light of a pending court appearance of a 53-year-old charged with murder.
