Police have discovered seven rifles at a property in Warkworth, north of Auckland

On Sunday morning, police found two firearms in plain sight inside an old bus next to a house.

Two more were found hidden under a makeshift bed.

A 50-year-old man was arrested for allegedly breaching his bail conditions -- and is also charged with illegally possessing a firearm and a cannabis-related charge.

Police are investigating where the weapons came from -- including the possibility some may have been stolen.
