Meghan, Duchess of Sussex would "love" to appear on a 'Suits' podcast

The 43-year-old royal played Rachel Zane for seven seasons on the TV legal drama, and Patrick J. Adams - her former co-star - has now revealed that the duchess is open to making an appearance on 'Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast'

Patrick, 43 - who played Mike Ross on the hit TV show - said on 'TODAY': "When we first decided to do the podcast, we wanted to reach out to everybody to say what our intentions were, why we were doing it, what we were not interested in doing [which was] gossiping or telling anyone else's story."

Patrick claimed that the duchess has already expressed her interest in joining the show.

He shared: "Meghan was one of the first to respond with a lovely text message, saying that she'd love to come and help in any way possible."

Despite this, Patrick is keen to build and develop the show before bringing lots of guests onboard.

The actor said: "I think the onus is on us to build a podcast that is good and successful [that] people are listening to and find our rhythm. Then we're gonna bring people onto it so they feel safe to tell their story."

Earlier this year, Patrick acknowledged that the duchess "leads a very different life now".

The actor also admitted that he rarely speaks to his former co-star these days.

He said on Reddit: "We are not really in touch. She leads a very different life now for obvious and important reasons.

"[But] upon hearing about the podcast, I got a lovely text, saying how excited she was for us and asking how she could help in anyway.

"It is so lovely to still have that kind of support and friendship after so many years apart. (sic)"
