Daniel Hillier is the best-placed Kiwi heading into the final round of the Australian golf Open in Melbourne

He's tied for 13th after his two-under-par third round, to sit nine-under for the tournament.

Hillier is five shots behind joint-leaders - American Ryggs Johnston and Aussie Lucas Herbert at 14-under.

Meanwhile in the women's competition, Hanee Song is tied for eighth on three-under, 10 shots off the pace.
