Lily Collins has paid a heartfelt birthday tribute to her dad Phil Collins

The 35-year-old actress has taken to social media to pay tribute to the chart-topping musician, who turned 74 on Thursday (30.01.25)

Alongside a throwback photo of them together, Lily wrote on Instagram: "From a west coast star to the West End stage and everywhere in between - I'm so grateful to be by your side and for the support, experiences, and love we have and will continue to share. The older I get, the greater I appreciate all the little, special moments spent together. Happy birthday Dad. I couldn't love you more or be more thankful to celebrate you today and every day. Truly. To the moon and back again... (sic)"

Lily has also posted a video of herself at Hotel Eden in Rome, where her autograph and her dad's now sit side by side on the wall.

The 'Emily in Paris' star commented: "Like father, like daughter. So proud to share space with you. Happy birthday, Dad."

Phil - who has battled various health problems in recent years, including diabetes - remains one of the best-selling artists of all time.

Despite this, Lily previously admitted that she struggled to understand her dad's fame during her younger years.

The brunette beauty - who was born in England, but raised in Los Angeles - told 'TODAY': "I remember being a kid at Disneyland with my dad and having someone come up and ask him for a photo. And I think I was just so confused because I was, like, well, Disneyland has nothing to do with him.

"But it was that kind of recognition no matter where he went that he had touched the life of somebody in a very profound way."
