Multiple plastic-wrapped, vacuum-sealed parcels containing meth were found inside the bags - that arrived on a flight from LA yesterday.

Customs Auckland Airport Manager Paul Williams says they're alert to criminal tactics, as drug volumes increase.

The meth's estimated street value is up to 13.5 million dollars - worth close to 38 million dollars in potential harm.
