Flooding is causing some issues on the South Island's West Coast

Flooding is causing some issues on the South Island's West Coast

Fire and Emergency crews have been called to two properties in Westport, where water is starting to enter homes.

Meanwhile, the Transport Agency's closed State Highway 6, Lower Buller Gorge to Inangahua, due to flooding and slips.

The entire Buller District is under an orange heavy rain warning - with up to 100 millimetres of rain expected, and the chance of thunderstorms
