    The Phoenix have signed Dan Edwards to his first fully-professional football contract


    The 27-year-old Kiwi defender joins the A-League men's side having played semi-professionally in Melbourne for the past five seasons.

    Phoenix head coach Giancarlo Italiano says he's been tracking Edwards for the past two years.
