Nicole Scherzinger feels like an "adopted Brit"

The Pussycat Dolls singer performed a one-woman show at London's Royal Albert Hall on Monday (06.10.25) where she discussed her love of Britain, having spent much of her professional career in the country

Nicole told the the audience: "It's been over 20 years now. I feel like I'm an adopted Brit.

    "I love a cuppa, I love a Sunday roast. I love a cheeky Nando's.

"Add in some banoffee pie and Percy Pigs and we are on a Jet2 holiday."

The former X Factor judge added: "Seriously, though, thank you for your love and support throughout the years. Always lifting me up, especially when I needed it.

"No one does it alone. No one gets to the Royal Albert-flipping-Hall by doing it alone."

Nicole also made a raunchy quip about her fiancé Thom Evans during the show, although she appeared to get the former Scotland rugby player's nationality confused.

The 47-year-old star joked: "I want you to know that this little girl, this little Hawaiian, Filipina, Spanish, Chinese, Polish and Irish - that's right, two per cent Irish, that counts - has come a long, long way.

"I also have English in me. His name is Thom. That's him over there."

Scherzinger also debuted a new "classy and sophisticated" track titled B*******.

She explained: "This is my idea of a love song. It is about waiting for that special someone to get it together. I'm talking about popping the question. Putting a ring on it.

"I thought it's a classy, elegant song - what better place to debut it than the Royal Albert Hall?

"After all, there's Keats, there's Shakespeare and there's Scherzinger. This song is called B*******."

Nicole previously hailed Thom as her "rock" as he was by her side for her portrayal of Norma Desmond in the musical Sunset Boulevard in both London and New York.

The star, who won a Tony Award for her performance, said: "It's really important to have a partner who supports you and believes in you, like I said in my (acceptance) speech, when you sometimes forget to believe in yourself.

"And he's been such a constant and a rock for me during this time, and he just really, he really gets me, my fiance. He's gotten me from day one."
