Warnings deadly tsunami waves are possible in Southeast Asia, after a 7.6 magnitude earthquake in the Philippines

The local Seismology Agency says the tremor struck 20 kilometres deep, off the coast of the Mindanao region.

Different agencies are issuing varying figures.

Several countries have issued warnings tsunami waves as high as three metres could hit nearby coastal areas.

President Ferdinand Marcos says the Government is working to get help to everyone in need.
