Te Pati Maori MPs don't appear united, about an email sent to members, containing serious allegations

Te Pati Maori MPs don't appear united, about an email sent to members, containing serious allegations

After Eru Kapa-Kingi claimed the Party has a dictatorship style of decision-making - it emailed members documents containing allegations he'd threatened Parliamentary staff.

It also alleged his mother Te Pati Maori MP Mariameno Kapa-Kingi, was in danger of overspending her office budget.

MP Takuta Ferris told the Post his electorate wasn't aware the email was going to members - and it was sent without consensus.

Mariameno Kapa-Kingi also re-shared a social media post, criticising the Party's decision to email members.
