Despite slumping to their biggest loss of the A-League season, the Wellington Phoenix men's coach insists they can still turn around their fortunes

Despite slumping to their biggest loss of the A-League season, the Wellington Phoenix men's coach insists they can still turn around their fortunes

Following last night's 5-1 away thrashing by the Melbourne Victory, Nix boss Giancarlo Italiano says his players are trying as hard as they can - but it comes down to maintaining focus for the full 90 minutes.

Italiano says it's his job to maintain belief in his squad, and it was an off day for his side.

The result has the Phoenix 10th on the ladder, three points outside the top six.
