One victim remains in critical condition, following the incident on Bevin Place in Bryndwr .
The dogs have been impounded, and the Council says the owner may voluntarily surrender them for euthanasia, though no decision has been made yet.
The attack comes days after a fatal mauling of a 62-year-old woman, by three dogs at a Northland property, and a separate dog attack in Timaru, left another person with moderate injuries on Andrew Street last night.
