    Kiwi driver Scott McLaughlin's made a bright start to the new IndyCar season in Florida


    McLaughlin's recorded the fastest time in the first practice session around the St Petersburg track.

    Marcus Armstrong's been seventh quickest, with Sir Scott Dixon 15th.

    After a mediocre 2025 McLaughlin outlines his goals for the 2026 season.



    The opening race is Monday morning.
