Former Warriors and Kiwis coach Brian McClennan has described the Warriors loss to the Storm as sad

The NRL club has been thrashed 50-6 by the Melbourne Storm, a week after coach Stephen Kearney was shown the door.

McClennan says the result shows the effects of being away from their loved ones for so long.

There are reports on social media that Ken Maumalo, David Fusitu'a and Agnatius Paasi have told the club they want to come home.
