    Trial of Kapiti councillor who allegedly pressed himself against a female staff member underway in Wellington

    The trial of a Kapiti Coast District councillor who allegedly pressed himself against a female staff member is underway in the Wellington District Court


    David Scott is facing a single charge of indecent assault.

    It's alleged he pressed his body against the staff member while she was speaking with the mayor in April last year.

    A jury of 6 women and 6 men has been selected for the trial which is expected to last three days.
