Police don't believe there's a risk to the public, following a shooting at Taranaki Base Hospital

A man's been treated at the hospital in New Plymouth, after being shot in the
carpark about 9.30 last night.

Senior Sergeant Jeff Veale says they're looking for the men involved in the
incident.

But he says the parties in the shooting appear to be known to each other, so
no one else should be at risk.
