Pamu Landcorp has signed a memorandum of understanding with Forest and Bird.
They are aiming to improve environmental practices in the farming sector - researching, implementing, and promoting agricultural practices - that protect the natural world.
Pamu chief executive, Steven Carden, says it's stopped the use of palm kernel extract on farms, fenced waterways, and set off extensive riparian planting.
But Forest and Bird chief executive Kevin Hague says there is still work to do, to reverse environmental degradation.
