First Union says many of its bus driver members would be happy to take part in Government's inquiry into bus safety
10 August 2018
The Ministry of Transport and NZTA are to investigate bus safety, after three
Mitsubishi Fusos crashed in the past two weeks.
An 11-year-old girl died in one crash last month, and a 69-year-old driver
died in Taranaki on Wednesday.
First Union's Emir Hodzic says an in depth investigation
would include more than the NZTA and Ministry alone.
He says it's a serious issue and should include unions, which have
information from bus drivers.
