A Taranaki mother has pleaded NOT guilty to stopping someone saving her daughter's life

A Taranaki mother has pleaded NOT guilty to stopping someone saving her daughter's life

It's alleged the 34-year-old mother impeded another woman's attempt to save
her daughter, in June last year.

The school-aged girl died two days later.

The woman has also pleaded NOT guilty to six other child neglect-related
charges - that span six years from March 2011 to June 2017.

The 34-year-old is on custodial remand and due to appear in New Plymouth
    District Court next month.
