All Blacks discards Vaea Fifita and Jeff To'omaga-Allen have bolstered Wellington's squad for their first season back in the Mitre 10 Cup premiership

To'omaga-Allen says there are a couple of things he needs to work on if he's
to secure a recall for the end-of-year tour.

He says he needs to improve his speed around the field and get his hands on
the ball more.

Experienced midfield back Matt Proctor has been named Wellington's captain
and he's expecting to be fit for their second round match against Canterbury on
Saturday week, having been sidelined with a sternum injury.
