Panthers general manager Phil Gould insists Trent Barrett isn't coming to Penrith to fill their coaching vacancy

Barrett has been linked with a move to the Panthers as he's reportedly
resigned from his role as Manly coach and will finish up with the Sea Eagles at
the end of the NRL season.

But Gould says he's never had a discussion with Barrett about coming to
Penrith and he won't be having a discussion with him about coming to Penrith.

He says they're on a different course and quite comfortable with where
they're going.
