Police are investigating after tourists were victims in an aggravated robbed near Turangi

Police say two male tourists had stopped their vehicle when they were
threatened by three men yesterday afternoon at around 4.30.
They say the men searched the vehicle before forcing the tourists to hand
over cash, a cell phone and their luggage.
Police say the incident happened on Atirau Road, near the Turangi Golf Course.
The offenders are described as Maori, two of whom had facial tattoos, and
were said to be using a red vehicle.
