    A logging truck is blocking half of State Highway Two at the Remutaka Hill


    The truck collided with a car just after six this morning.

    One person's in a stable condition at Hutt Hospital.

    Remutaka Hill Road is down to one lane under stop/go traffic management.

    NZTA Regional Transport System Manager Mark Owen says it looks like the truck's broken an axle, and specialist equipment will be needed to remove it.

    He says the road may need to be totally closed for short periods to do that.
