All Blacks coach Steve Hansen concedes Ngani Laumape's on-field communication remains a work in progress ahead of his test return

The Hurricanes midfield back will start Saturday's second Bledisloe Cup test
at Eden Park, with Ryan Crotty out with concussion.

Laumape was left out of the initial Rugby Championship squad and told to
become more vocal.

Hansen says he's working on it as a second-five needs to have good
communication.

He says there's a massive amount of expectation on a first-five to make good
decisions but they can't see everything and need to have their second-five
talking to them.
