Kiwi cyclist Aaron Gate sees his future on the road, despite currently being without a ride for 2019

His team Aqua Blue Sport has announced it will fold at the end of the
European season, leaving its riders unemployed.

Gate says he doesn't plan to return to the velodrome yet as he's still
enjoying road cycling.

He says he's loved the last couple of years with Aqua Blue and he's developed
a lot as a cyclist and athlete.

But Aaron Gate says the Tokyo Olympics is at the back of his mind and he
hopes to find time for track cycling.
