Serena Williams has survived a fourth round scare to advance to the women's quarter-finals at the US tennis Open in New York

The 23-time grand slam champion has won the final set 6-3 after Estonia's
Kaia Kanepi levelled the match at one-all.
Rafael Nadal also survived a scare in the men's draw, advancing in four sets
over a Georgian opponent.
He says it's now time for him to step it up.
Sloane Stephens and Juan Martin del Potro are among those in action in the
night session.
