A horse trainer caught up in the police probe into alleged race-fixing and drug dealing is fighting to keep his name secret

The 30 year-old appeared in Christchurch District Court today charged with
supplying Class B drugs.
He's one of 10 within the Harness Racing Industry.arrested as part of
Operation Inca
Today at Christchurch District Court - Judge Tony Couch refused his
application for name suppression.. but his defence lawyer Andrew McCormick
indicated he would appeal the decision..
The man was granted bail with conditions - which include not attending any
race meetings, horse trials or work outs.
His name will be suppressed until 4pm - to give time to appeal..
