It's hoped a report on relationship and sexual education will bring change to classrooms

More than a hundred schools were surveyed in an Education Review Office
report, which shows some aren't meeting minimum requirements.
The report suggests the Ministries of Education and Health should work
together to give schools and teachers better support.
It also recommends schools consider if their sexual education programme is
relevant to all students of all backgrounds.
Family Planning health promotion advisor Amanda Hargreaves says it's welcome,
but frustrating because they've been calling for similar actions for a long
time.
She says there needs to be consistency in sexual education teaching across
the country, so young people are getting a quality education.
