Ko has carded a one-under second round to sit even for the tournament, in a share of 36th and eight back from the lead in France.
Ko had three birdies and a double bogey.
Compatriot Josh Geary has sneaked inside the cut at the Dutch Open on the European Tour.
Geary has carded a two-under 69 to be one-under for the tournament in a share of 61st.
Ryan Fox has missed the cut, finishing a further shot back at one-under through 36 holes.
