Wellington commuters are ditching buses in favour of their cars

About 60 people showed up to today's latest public meeting in the southern suburbs over the city's bus fiasco.
They say some buses are nearly empty because they're unreliable and take too long.
One person says at least three people in his street are now driving instead of catching the bus.
Wellington Regional Councillor Daran Ponter says he's aware of the problem.
Mr Ponter says they're working to make direct routes into the city to attract people back to public transport.
