Hard on the heels of signing world number two Caroline Wozniacki and seven times Grand Slam champion Venus Williams, organisers have secured a third former world number one, Victoria Azarenka.
The Belarussian was prevented from playing in Auckland last year due to a custody dispute with her son's father, but Budge says that's been resolved.
He says noone would be happier more than her now she's got it sorted out and she's risen more than 150 spots on th WTA Tour this year ranking wise.
Azarenka is currently ranked 55 in the world.
