    A bittersweet feeling for Basketball New Zealand following Paul Henare's appointment as Melbourne United assistant coach


    The Tall Blacks mentor became heavily involved in wider BBNZ activities such as national tournaments and competitions after leaving the Breakers at the end of the last Australian Basketball League season.

    He will now balance both national and club coaching commitments.

    BBNZ CEO Iain Potter says they've really enjoyed having Henare available in other capacities over the past few months.
