    George Worker has had the best possible preparation for the Black Caps ODI series against Pakistan in the UAE


    The Central Districts opener has replaced the injured Martin Guptill in the squad with pace bowler Lockie Ferguson also added along with spinner Ajaz Patel as cover for Todd Astle.

    Worker says spending the past four or five weeks with the New Zealand A side has put him in good stead.



    Corey Anderson has returned home with a heel injury.

    The first of three ODI's is on Thursday morning.
