Tall Blacks guard Corey Webster will sit out the world championship qualifiers against Jordan and Syria in the coming weeks

Webster has been playing non-stop for 17 months with stints in Israel and China before linking up with the Breakers.

The shooting guard believes it's the best thing for him.

He says it's always an honour to put on the black singlet, but to get the best out of him this season he needs to monitor his body, and the international window is the best time to do it.

Point guard Shea Ili is also in doubt with his first child due on the 3rd of December, just a day after the second qualifier against Syria.
