After a one point victory over England, the All Blacks tasted defeated to Ireland on Sunday morning.
Foster says its hugely beneficial having played two huge test matches in as many weeks.
He says the All Blacks hadn't played England or Ireland for a while, so while you prepare players for what's coming, its another for the the players to be on the park and feel it coming at them.
Ian Foster says players and coaches learnt things from those experiences, now they have to be good enough to adapt to them.
