    The Tall Blacks feel their identity's finally starting to shine through following their qualification for next year's basketball world cup in China


    New Zealand have eased past Syria by 23 points in Wellington to book their ticket with one qualifying window to spare.

    The Tall Blacks have now won nine of their ten games on the road to China.

    Tall Blacks assistant coach Mike Fitchett says they were playing poorly during the Commonwealth Games so implemented a new offensive plan which has paid dividends.



    New Zealand have one more away window of internationals against Lebanon and Jordan in February.
