    A Dunedin police officer caught using her phone while driving has been given a ticket and a talking to


    The Otago Daily Times reports she was caught last week during a police sting targeting motorists not wearing seat-belts or using their phones.

    A police spokeswoman says she was using the phone for work, but it wasn't an emergency and she could have pulled over or waited.
