The Green Party says there needs to be more clarity around what medical history is required and why when applying for jobs

An investigation by the party shows that large companies are discriminating against people with mental health issues when applying for work.
Spokesperson for mental health Chloe Swarbrick says often applicants don't know what their rights are when providing the information.
She says this part of the application already poses a power imbalance between the interviewer and applicant.
