A second gondola is on the cards for Queenstown

A second gondola is on the cards for Queenstown

Remarkables Park is proposing a 10-kilometre-long gondola to the Remarkables ski-field, picking up and dropping off up to 25-hundred commuters an hour - along the way.

CEO Alastair Porters says it would make a great way to go skiing... and beat 45 minutes of traffic at peak times.

    He says it's a hydro-power, green solution.

Porter says the gondola would cost close to 100-million-dollars.
