The third strike in as many months for anaesthetic technicians at the Hawke's Bay District Health Board will begin tomorrow morning, over an ongoing pay dispute

A 48-hour long strike has been organised after failed negotiations last week.
The health board told the union that technicians should receive smaller pay increases than other DHB professional groups.
A union spokesperson says there's a surplus of positions going unfilled and people having their surgeries cancelled or postponed as a result.
