David Ferrer is vowing to do everything he can to win a record 5th ASB men's Classic title in Auckland next month

The 36 year old Spaniard retired from Grand Slam tennis after the US Open, but is playing a handful of his favourite tournament\s in 2019 before retiring for good after the Madrid Masters.
He shares the record of four Auckland titles with Australian Roy Emerson, and will play the Hopman Cup in Perth the week before to give him the best possible chance of being at his best here.
Ferrer says of course he will try because it's going to be his last chance and it's a very special tournament for her.
David Ferrer has a main draw wildcard into the ASB Classic with his current ranking 121 in the world.
