    An "open wicket" style training for New Zealand's stand-in Twenty20 captain Tim Southee this week


    Southee will lead the Black Caps for the fourth time in an international tonight against Sri Lanka at Eden Park.

    In the interim he's rolled the arm over and opened the batting in a Last Man Stands fixture at the Auckland Domain.

    Southee was dismissed for 7 off 10 balls and returned 0-33 from his four overs - albeit bowling spin.

    His side lost by 30 runs.
