    Wellington have defended their Twenty20 Super Smash cricket title in a last-ball thriller against Canterbury at Eden Park Outer Oval


    The Blaze have chased 131 to win by four wickets with Suzie McDonald and Jess Kerr scampering for a single as Frankie Mackay attempted to throw down the stumps in her follow-through.

    All-rounder Sophie Devine returned for the final from her duties with Adelaide Strikers.

    She says the victory came from multiple contributions, which has been a big part of their success.
