The Blaze have chased 131 to win by four wickets with Suzie McDonald and Jess Kerr scampering for a single as Frankie Mackay attempted to throw down the stumps in her follow-through.

Auckland have beaten Otago by four runs in the men's competition.

Craig Cachopa starred with 73 from 38 balls and Mitchell McClenaghan restricted the Volts to 12 off the final over.

The win takes the Aces into a clear third on the table.

The Phoenix sit fifth on the table with 23 points.

Manchester City have eased past Huddersfield Town 3-nil in the English Premier League to return the deficit to leaders Liverpool to four points.

An agonising finish to the Tour Down Under for Kiwi cyclist Paddy Bevin.

Bevin crashed on stage five and was nursing bruised ribs during the final stage.

Lydia Ko holding on to a share of the lead early in the final round of the LPGA's Tournament of Champions in Florida.

Ko is even through her first four holes, to be 13-under.
