    The North Queensland Cowboys have been caught up in the historic floods hitting Townsville

    The NRL club is searching for accommodation for a number of players who have had to be evacuated from their homes as floodwaters continue to rise.

    They've also been involved in the rescue efforts with John Asiata, Scott Bolton and former club wing Antonio Winterstein rescuing fellow players and locals residents by boat.

    More rain is expected.
