    The White Ferns veterans are doing all they can to ease the nerves of potential debutants in today's Twenty20 international against India


    Northern Districts opener Katie Gurrey and Central Districts allrounder Rosemary Mair are the new faces in the squad, having impressed in the women's Super Smash competition.

    White Ferns captain Amy Satterthwaite says being nervous is just part of debuting for your country.

    She says part of their job as senior players is to make the newbies feel as comfortable as possible and make them feel they can perform like they have domestically.

    First ball from Wellington is at 4pm, before the two men's sides play at the same venue from 8pm.
