    Matt Todd has declared himself ready to return to the rigours of Super Rugby


    The Crusaders flanker took up a deal in Japan last year rather than play Mitre10 Cup.

    However, he was whistled into the All Blacks for the end of year tour after Sam Cane's neck injury.

    Todd says Japan was a change in scenery that he enjoyed.



    Todd will captain the Crusaders in the opening rounds with Sam Whitelock out.
