Lime has fined a Dunedin crash victim $100 for not leaving her e-scooter in a place Lime could recover it
16 February 2019
Renee Whitehouse collided with a truck after she ran a red light, crossing Cumberland Street, about 1.45 on the morning of January 18.
She's now recovering in Dunedin Hospital.
Whitehouse says the penalty notice was emailed to her on Thursday - her first contact with Lime since the incident.
She says she's stunned to have received the penalty, considering she has an obvious explanation for not parking the scooter on the footpath.
