A woman who's still in hospital a month on from a Lime scooter crash in Dunedin, has now been told she won't be fined by the company after all

Renee Whitehouse was riding one of the e-scooters home from work early on January 18th when she collided with a truck.

Lime had told her she'd be charged a $100 penalty fee for the crash...on top of the $39.10 it had billed her for the ride.

    But now it's saying sorry.

In an email Lime has instead offered a refund, saying it cares deeply for riders and wants to ensure a safe experience.
